  • Mutton: 500 grams, bone-in pieces for enhanced taste

  • Yoghurt: 1 cup, whisked to a smooth consistency

  • Onions: 2 large, finely sliced and caramelized

  • Ginger-Garlic Paste: 2 tablespoons, freshly prepared

  • Clarified Butter (Ghee): 1/4 cup, for that rich flavor

  • Whole Spices: 2-3 green cardamom pods, 1 black cardamom, 2-3 cloves, 1-inch cinnamon stick

  • Ground Spices: 1 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon coriander, 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder (adjust according to your spice preference)

  • Saffron: A pinch, soaked in warm milk
